CIVIL DESIGN TECHNICIAN - TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS - MONAGHAN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidates will get full ownership of the engineering aspects of
projects and will be expected to prepare all designs including
drafting, ancillary reports, inspection of construction works, client
and on-site meeting.
They will be working within a multi-disciplinary team of Structural /
Civil Engineers and technicians along with in house Architects,
Architectural technicians and Building surveyors.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will hold a minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil
Engineering or Design
3+ years’ working as a Civil Engineer / Transportation Engineer /
Technician within a consultancy in Ireland or the UK.
AutoCAD experience is essential
Experience with Active Travel Schemes taking project through all
stages of the NTA liaising directly with the NTA and Local
Authorities, design of schemes in accordance with NTA/TII
guidelines, National guidelines and the * Cycle
manual.
Bonus Experience – Public Realm design projects, Road Safety Audits,
Quality Audits, Drainage design, SUDs Design, Flood Risk Assessments,
Structural Design.
